In line with Earth Hour 2023. Let's start on helping with zero e-waste. What is the purpose of zero waste? The zero waste approach seeks to maximize recycling, minimize waste, reduce consumption and ensures that products are made to be reused, repaired or recycled back into nature or the marketplace. We commend Globe in their initiative with this program. Electronic waste (e-waste) refers to any old, non-working and end-of-life devices. These cover all electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and its components and are also referred to as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), which is now considered as one of the fastest growing waste streams in the Philippines according to the DENR-Environmental Management Bureau.
