  Here's a simple recipe for meatloaf like your mom used to make. Serve with mashed potatoes and green  beans  for a true old-fashioned taste.      Serves:           6      Cooking Time:           1 hr       Ingredients 1       1 / 2         pounds  ground beef  1 cup  tomato sauce, catsup, or milk        3 / 4         cup  Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)        1 / 2         cup  chopped onion or green pepper  1  egg  1 teaspoon  salt        1 / 8         teaspoon  pepper  Instructions Preheat oven to 350F degrees.     Combine all ingredients; mix well.     Shape to form 8x4-inch loaf.     Bake in large shallow baking pan in preheated oven about 1 hour.
