How to Join Karinderya Wars on TV5? The new and most exciting cooking competition in the country has arrived! TV5 will soon launched the first "luto-negosyo challenge show" on Philippine TV called "Karinderya Wars". The competition is open to all 18 years old and above, with or without a professional cooking experience. Contestant should be recommended or nominated by others and currently residing in Metro Manila. Nomination may be sent until March 8 via email at karinderyawars@tv5.com.ph or at 1003 10/F Paragon Tower, Reliance St. corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City.

TV5‘s Chef vs. Mom - an ultimate mother and son cooking showdown - won Best Lifestyle Program at the 2012 Asian Television Awards (ATA) held at the Shangri-LaHotel in Singapore last December 6. Chef vs. Mom bested Singapore’s “Passage to Abu Dhabi,” “Chef On The Road,” and “Lonely Planet Six Degrees China - Episode Shanghai”; India’s “Band Baajaa Bride with Sabyasachi”; and Malaysia’s “Axian Food Adventures (Season 2)” and “Now Everyone Can Fly to New Zealand.”
