'Biggest Loser Doubles' On ABS-CBN starts January 6, 2014

“The Biggest Loser Doubles” will premiere on January 6, 2014. “It starts airing January 6. Yes, may play date na kami,” the Kapamilya star announced with excitement on the morning talk show “Kris TV.” Iza added that the finale of the competition, originally titled “The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition” Season 2, will air live. She also hinted that the contestants have already lost weight. “Yung final namin, ‘yun ‘yong live.  I’m so proud of them at ang laki na ng na-lose nila, I’m so excited,” the actress and TV host said. Iza will be joined by Robi Domingo as co-host and Matteo Guidicelli as the game master.

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 71 / Nov. 25- DARK CHOCOLATE CRINKLES. Ingredients: ¼ cup black cocoa powder plus ½ cup cocoa powder ¾ cups vegetable oil 2 cups sugar 4 large eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup confectioner's sugar image and recipe credit: idol sa kusina Procedure: 1 In the bowl of an electric mixer with a whisk attachment, combine cocoa, oil and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined. 2 In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the cocoa mixture and stir until just combined. 3 Place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour or until the dough is firm before using. 4 Preheat oven to 350°F.  5 Shape the dough into ¾-inch balls and roll in the confectioner's sugar to coat completely. 6 Place the balls in a lightly greased cookie sheet or a cookie sheet line...

Larry take home 1 million pesos, a condominium unit from DMCI Homes, a Vespa scooter, and the title of being the first Biggest Loser in the Philippines. ABS-CBN's big boss Eugenio Lopez Jr made a surprise appearance for the big announcement. Mr. Lopez said that the 2nd Place up to 5th Place will receive P500k each, making all the Fab 5 a winner. Kitchen Supestar RECIPES: MARATHON SALMON ROLL Ingredients: 200g fresh salmon cut to strips1 medium zucchini seeded and cut to strips and blanched1 small carrot cut to thin strips and blanched7 pieces loaf bread slices pressed/flattened and crusts removedmayonnaise for spreading Salsa:1 /2 cup chopped roasted bell peppers1 cup peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes1 small red onion finely chopped1 bunch fresh wansuy choppedjuice and zest of 1 limeSalt and pepper to taste Procedure: Spread some mayo on the flattened bread slices then arrange the salmon, carrots and zucchini on top.Roll them up to wrap the salmon and veggies with the bread and secure with toothpicks.For the salsa, mix all the ingredients in a bowl then season with salt and pepper to taste and serve it with the salmon rolls.
