The Kitchen Musical Lead Stars Filipino Karylle and Christian Bautista

Cooking shows are a big hit nowadays not only in Tv Shows but also in stage plays, just like the "Kitchen Musical which is being stage in Singapore starring Filipino artists. Karylle and Christian Bautista made a remarkable acting debut in the first episode of “The Kitchen Musical” aired last Sunday on ABS-CBN. The said TV musical is scheduled to air on seven countries, including Studio 23, in the region and 18 territories via AXN this month. Produced in Singapore by The Group Entertainment, the series fuses music, dance, drama, comedy to come up with a unique, charming TV show. Aside from Karylle, as Sous Chef Maddie, and Christian, as Sous Chef Daniel, the series also features Filipino talents like Ikey Canoy, Thou Reyes, and Art Acuna. Broadway star Stephen Rahman Hughes of Bombay Dreams is the other lead character in the story. Idol sa Kusina Recipe- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 43- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS. Ingredients: 500g corned beef 6 pcs. eggs 1 pc. white onion 1 clove garlic 4 loaves bread, white part only, soaked in fresh milk ½ cup fresh milk 30g spring onion 30g celery 1 cup rice 100g all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. white pepper For garnish: julienne carrots and julienne pumpkin Procedure: 1. Saute onion, garlic, celery. Add corned beef. season with salt and pepper. Set aside. 2. On mixing bowl, add bread loaves, spring onion, beaten egg, all-purpose flour. Combine all together. 3. Form into balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and set aside. 4. Saute white rice in butter. Add beaten egg, turn once until done. 5. Place on plate over top with corned beef balls.
