"Marvin Agustin will try hosting for the first time in “The Search for the Kitchen Superstar” that starts in April on GMA7. “When it was offered, sabi ko ‘Why me?’ I’m not a kitchen superstar. They said bagay sa ’kin due to my track record sa negosyo with my ten restaurants now. Tinitingala raw ako at gustong tularan so I will inspire all the cooks who’ll join the contest and give them hope, kasi kung ano 'yung pagdaraanan nila sa show, napagdaanan ko na before. With the growing popularity of Cooking Shows, the likes of Korean tagalized Baker King and the upcoming cooking reality shows "Kitchen Superstar" of GMA-7 and "Junior Masterchef" of ABS-CBN  I decided to put-up this blog in order for me to learn as well. Being an Overseas Filipino Workers myself  I believed we have to adapt in foreign land, not necessarily learn to cook their native cuisine but to learn to experiment to cook pinoy food with a different twist, like making the available ingredients to work for your menu.
