CHRISTMAS PUTO INGREDIENTS AND PROCEDURES. Ingredients for puto: 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour 1 cup white sugar 2 tbsp baking powder 1/4 teaspoon fine salt 2 egg whites 1/4 cup full cream evaporated milk 1 1/2 cups water Butter for greasing the moulds Red, green, yello food color Procedure: 1. Grease puto moulds with butter and set aside. Boil water in the steamer over medium – high heat. 2. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder in a mixing bowl. 3. In another mixing bowl, whisk egg whites, milk and water until well combined. 4. Add flour mixture and mix until well combined. 5. divide mixture into three, then add food color to the divided mixture 6. Place the filled moulds to the prepared steamer and cook the puto for 17 - 20 minutes. 7. To check, skewer a toothpick at the center of the puto and if the stick comes out clean, it is cooked. 8. Remove the cooked puto from the steamer, cool the puto slightly before un-moulding. Serve. Ingred

Ingredients: 2 Blocks Kesong Puti 1 Small Keso de Bola 2 Block Cheddar Cheese 300 g Grapes  3 Pcs Apples (Sliced) Salted Crackers Dried Fruits Procedure: 1. Arrange all ingredients on a platter. SPARKILING GRAPE SODA Lemon Lime Soda red and green grapes Mint leaves Procedure: 1. Freeze grapes. 2. Place frozen grapes on to a serving glass and pour soda in it. 3. garnish drink with mint leaves, serve.

Christmas is just around the corner and Santa Claus is no more smoking! “The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth/and the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath” used to be verses in “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” a poem from 1823. Now, Canadian author Pamela McColl has decided to delete those lines in a new version of the poem to portray a smokeless Santa. According to the New York Post , McColl spent $200,000 for printing 55,500 copies of her book in English, Spanish and French. She also hired an illustrator “to redraw Santa without his pipe and halo of tobacco haze,” reports The Post.
