Idol sa Kusina Recipe- ADOBONG PUSIT SA GATA

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 84 / March 17- ADOBONG PUSIT SA GATA. Ingredients: 400g baby squid, cleaned and ink seperated 1/3 cup white vinegar ¼ cup soy sauce ½ cup coconut milk 2 cloves garlic, crushed 2 stalks of spring onions 1 bay leaf 2 pcs. labuyo 1 cup cornstarch oil for deep frying cilantro for garnish Photo and recipe credit:Idol sa Kusina Procedure: 1. Put squid in a pot with all the ingredients. 2. Cook over low heat until squid is tender. Adjust seasoning to your preference. 3. Remove squid when done and dredge in cornstarch. 4. Deep fry and set aside. 5. Meanwhile, let the sauce simmer until reduced and serve on the side. 4. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice.

Idol sa Kusina Recipe- Adobo Sa Dilaw

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 84 / March 17- Adobo Sa Dilaw. Ingredients: 2 tbsp oil 1 medium onion, sliced 3 cloves garlic, crushed 2 tsp. dilaw (turmeric), cut into sliced 500 g chicken, cut into serving pieces 1 to 1½ tsp. peppercorn salt to taste 1 cup vinegar 1 cup water Photo and recipe credit: Idol sa Kusina Procedure: 1. In a pan, saute onion, garlic and dilaw in cooking oil. 2. Put in chicken, peppercorn, salt, vinegar and water.  3. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and tender. 4. Garnish with toasted garlic and spring onion and serve with rice.

Idol sa Kusina Recipe- ADOBONG TUYO

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 84 / March 17- ADOBONG TUYO. Ingredients: 500g pork liempo, cut into 2-inch chunks 2 tbsp. oil 3-4 cloves garlic 200g chicken liver 1-2 pcs. labuyo 2 pcs. laurel leaf 1 tbsp. whole peppercorn 1/3 cup soy sauce ½ cup vinegar 1 cup water Photo and recipe credit: Idol sa Kusina Procedure: 1. In a pan, saute chicken liver and labuyo for 2-3 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Remove from pan and puree (add little water if needed when blending). Set aside. 2. In the same pan, brown the pork and add the garlic until fragrant. 3. Add in the pureed liver and pour the soy sauce, vinegar, water, peppercorns and bay leaf. 4. Simmer for 2-2½ hours until pork is soft and sauce has thickened. 5. Garnish with spring onions and serve with rice.
