Unang Hirit Recipe- Vegetable Crispy Fried Noodles

Unang Hirit #KitchenHirit of the day: Vegetable Crispy Fried Noodles with Chef Redd Agustin. Ingredients: pork kasim atay ng manok chicken breast tubig na may asin dried egg noodles bawang puting sibuyas mantika carrots baguio beans spring onion repolyo kinchay chinese chorizzo cornstarch/harina oyster sauce toyo sesame oil Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Pakuluan sa tubig na may asin ang atay, manok, at baboy. 2. Kapag lumambot, himayin. 3. Pakuluan ang noodles ng 1-2 minuto at salain. 4. I-prito ang noodles at ilagay sa isang plato. 5. Ilagay ang karne sa ginisang bawang at sibuyas. 6. Ibuhos ang stock at iba pang mga sangkap, lutuin sa loob ng 10-15 minuto. 7. Ilagay ang pinaghalong harina at tubig at antayin maging malapot ang sauce. 8. Ilagay ang ginisa sa ibabaw ng noodles.

Here's  Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day- January 29, 2014: Chicken and Tikoy Guisado with Chef Liah De Castro.  Ingredients: tikoy  manok  bell pepper  carrots  sibuyas  luya  bawang  toyo  asukal hoisin sauce  ketchuo tubig  Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Iprito ang manok at ang tikoy.  2. Igisa ang sili, paminta, luya at bawang.  3. Isama ang mga pang timpla: asukal, hosin sauce at ketchup.  4. Lagyan ng tubig at pakilagay ang manok at tikoy. Hayaang kumulo. 5. Isama na rin ang manok at tikoy.

Here's Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day: Buko Chopseuy with Chef Brooke Enriquez. Ingredients: buko manok hipon itlog ng pugo sayote carrot young corn repolyo red bell pepper sitsaro sibuyas bawang oyster sauce corn starch patis asukal paminta mantika  Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Sa isang kawali, igisa ang bawang at sibuyas.  2. Idagdag ang hiniwang karne at hipon at hayaan itong maging golden brown at maluto. 3. Timplahan ito ng patis at paminta. Pakuluin sa loob ng 2-3 minuto. 4. Dagdagan ng 2 hanggang 2 ½ tubig o broth, oyster sauce at hoisin sauce. Muling pakuluin sa loob ng 2-3 minuto. 5. Ihulog ang mga gulay tulad ng young corn, sayote, carrots, green beans at celery. 6. Kapag malambot na ang mga unang gulay, dagdagan ito ng sitsaro, repolyo, bell pepper, dahon ng celery, itlog ng pugo at buko.  7. Timplahan ito ng asin at dagdagan ng corn starch upang maging malapot ang sabaw.

Ingredients: bawang sibuyas luya tokwa tanglad malunggay asin paminta short grain rice/dinorado  Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Prituhin ang tokwa. 2. Ihalo ang tokwa sa ginisang bawang, sibuyas at luya.  3. Ilagay ang hugas na bigas at lagyan ng tubig. 4. Ilagay din ang tanglad. 5. Pakuluan hanggang maluto ang bigas. 6. Budburan ng asin at painta. 7. Idagdag ang malunggay.

Idol sa Kusina Chinese New Year Recipe- Steamed Lapu-Lapu with Tofu

Pandagdag sa ating Chinese menu itong Steamed Lapu-Lapu with Tofu. Tradition na ang laging paghahain ng fish sa hapag, kahit for display lang. Pero itong ginawa ni Chef Boy--sobrang sarap kaya malamang hindi ito magtatagal bilang display! Idol sa Kusina Recipe- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 43- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS. Ingredients: 500g corned beef 6 pcs. eggs 1 pc. white onion 1 clove garlic 4 loaves bread, white part only, soaked in fresh milk ½ cup fresh milk 30g spring onion 30g celery 1 cup rice 100g all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. white pepper For garnish: julienne carrots and julienne pumpkin Procedure: 1. Saute onion, garlic, celery. Add corned beef. season with salt and pepper. Set aside. 2. On mixing bowl, add bread loaves, spring onion, beaten egg, all-purpose flour. Combine all together. 3. Form into balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and set aside. 4. Saute white rice in butter. Add beaten egg, turn once until done. 5. Place on plate over top with corned beef balls.
