The Many Benefits of Turmeric a.k.a. Super Food in Japan

I've been consuming Turmeric (powder form) since the start of the pandemic and I have been advised that it is good in fighting viruses, especially when taken with hot water. Before going to the office since I am a public commuter, I'll make sure I took a cup of water with one spoon of turmeric powder with honey as a sweetener.

Turmeric contains 3% to 5% curcumin. Curcumin is a natural and powerful antioxidant that has antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, liver, and kidney protection effects.

In addition, curcumin can also lower blood fat, lower blood sugar, lower blood pressure, anti-tumor, anti-ulcer,

Turmeric is one of the most favorite health foods in Japan and is known as a "superfood". According to Lucia Garcia from Quora , Okinawa, Japan is the hometown of longevity in the world. The consumption of turmeric is considered to be one of the main reasons for the longevity of Okinawa people.

Consumption of turmeric is very beneficial to the health of internal organs such  as the liver, kidneys, heart, and stomach.

The recommended consuption of turmeric is 3 grams to 5 grams of turmeric powder (1 spoon) a day. I used to buy my Turmeric powder online via Lazada.

Idol sa Kusina Recipe- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 43- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS. Ingredients: 500g corned beef 6 pcs. eggs 1 pc. white onion 1 clove garlic 4 loaves bread, white part only, soaked in fresh milk ½ cup fresh milk 30g spring onion 30g celery 1 cup rice 100g all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. white pepper For garnish: julienne carrots and julienne pumpkin Procedure: 1. Saute onion, garlic, celery. Add corned beef. season with salt and pepper. Set aside. 2. On mixing bowl, add bread loaves, spring onion, beaten egg, all-purpose flour. Combine all together. 3. Form into balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and set aside. 4. Saute white rice in butter. Add beaten egg, turn once until done. 5. Place on plate over top with corned beef balls.
