With so many scam and hacks around, you need to be aware of risks in order to protect yourself and your data. Recently, I almost became a victim of a scammer on WhatsApp and Telegraph apps. Someone drop a message on Whatsapp asking if I wanted a part-time job watching Tiktok videos and earning P50.00 per video. We have to be aware on what is being offered to us and never click a link given by strangers.

1. Always download from official app stores. You may be susceptible to hacking when downloading from third-party app stores.

2. Keep your info and apps up to date. App developers are the first to know new risks and constantly update their software to fight malware.

3. Install a mobile security app. Detection and prevention is the key to keeping your device safe.
