To further the goal of eliminating human rabies cases in the Philippines, The Department of Health (DOH) will provide a full course of anti-rabies vaccines in 480 Animal Bite Treatment Centers nationwide. In 2015, a total of 432,458 animal bite cases were recorded by DOH with 226 reported deaths due to rabies.    “None of these deaths should have occurred since we have the necessary interventions to prevent rabies such as promotion of responsible pet ownership, early consultation when bitten by animals and timely administration of vaccines.” Health Secretary Janette P. Chicken and Crunchy Seasonal Vegetable Sticks.  Ingredients 150 g carrots, cut into sticks 8 green asparagus, peeled and cut into 3 each 200 g chicken breasts, cut into sticks 1 individual pot plain yoghurt 100 ml sherry vinegar 1 bunch chives, chopped 4 tomatoes, cut into quarters 1 head iceberg lettuce, ready to use Salt and pepper Preparation Place the carrots on the cooking tray and season. Steam for 15 minutes with the main course and the dessert. After 8 minutes, open and add the asparagus and the chicken sticks. Close, push the Vitamin + booster button and continue cooking for 7 minutes. Mix the yoghurt, vinegar, chives, salt and pepper. Allow the vegetables to cool and season. The town is now linked to the municipal mainland through a 400 meter long bridge across the Kakiputan Channel. The process lies in combining the mangoes with brown sugar and hot water then fermenting it from 14 to 28 days, said Layson. After the fermentation process, the residue is removed. It can be used up to three times to make new batches, he said. To make sure that the extract is completely safe for human ingestion, it is boiled to kill the microbes, This procedure is the last step before it is bottled up with spices like garlic, chili peppers and ginger, he added.
