Jollibee's Chairman and Founder, Mr. Tony Tan Caktiong, recently received the Gawad Mabini from President Benigno Aquino III for successfully leading the APEC 2015 CEO Summit as Chairman. The Gawad Mabini is conferred on Filipinos who have rendered distinguished foreign service, or helped promote the interests and prestige of the Philippines abroad. Congratulations! Earlier, President Benigno S. Aquino III conferred upon Tony Tan Caktiong the Gawad Mabini, with rank of Commander (Dakilang Kasugo), in a ceremony held in the Music Room of Malacañan Palace.
