Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 41- Seared Tuna Salad with Mango Vinaigrette.
Ingredients:
100 red lolo roso, rinsed
1 head romaine lettuce, rinsed
2 cups baby spinach, rinsed
1 cup cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp oil
300g tuna loin sashimi grade
Salt to taste
Freshly cracked pepper to coat tuna
Mango dressing:
2 pcs mango (reserve few slices for garnish)
1/3 tsp ginger
1/2 lemon, squeezed
1/2 tsp Sesame oil
Splash of Soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
Procedure:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Set aside.
2. Season tuna with salt and pepper. Pan sear and set aside before slicing.
3. Assemble lettuce, spinach and sliced tomatoes, plate the tuna and drizzle with mango vinaigrette.
