Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 57-Aug. 12- ARROZ CHICKEN ALA CUBANA IN ESPESYAL.
Ingredients:
1 kg. minced chicken meat
1 pc. chopped onion
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2cup. raisins
¼ cup tomato paste
½ cup chicken stock
1 tsp. seasoning powder
2 tbsp. cooking oil
10 pcs. Pita bread
5 pcs. ripe banana (saging Saba)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. white pepper powder
10 g. chopped spring onion
Procedure:
1. Sauté in sauce pan oil, garlic, onion, tomato sauce, chicken stock, minced chicken until done. Add raisins, sugar, salt, pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes and set aside.
2. Deep-fry banana until golden brown and set aside.
3. Open each piece of Pita bread and fill it up with Arroz chicken a la cubana and fried banana.
4. Roll and place on plate. Garnish with chopped spring onion.
