Here's the biggest "Yema" in Unang Hirit with Pia Arcangel This is not officially the biggest in the world since they might be a bigger one but for us PSKMC it seems like the one since this is the first time we saw a "Yema" as big as this one. Yema is a sweet concoction made with milk and egg yolks. Yema are custard candies we inherited from our Spanish colonizers of more than 300 years. The word “yema” actually means “yolk” in Spanish. During the Spanish
occupation millions of egg whites and egg shells were used to build
churches in the country.
