Unang Hirit Recipe- Halloween Treats

Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the Day: Halloween Treats with Chef John Robin Pecson.

Treat#1: Graveyard Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
Whipped cream
Chocolate
Crushed cookies
Broas

Procedure:
1. Patigasin ang whipped cream.
2. Tunawin ang tsokolate at ihalo sa whipped cream.
3. Maglagay ng chocolate mousse sa baso/shot glass.
4. Ilagay ang crushed cookies, broas.

Treat #2: Chocolate Eyeballs
Ingredients:
Crumbled chocolate fudge cake w/ chocolate ganache
Melted white chocolate
Melted blue chocolate
Melted red chocolate

Procedure:
1. Gumamit ng mixer para ihalo ang crumbled chocolate cake at chocolate ganache.
2. Gawing chocolate balls ang cake.
3. Ilubog ang chocolate balls sa melted white chocolate at patuyuin.
4. Lagyan ng melted blue chocolate ang covered chocolate cake para makagawa ng mga mata at black chocolate naman para maging pupil.
5. Lumikha ng eye veins mula sa melted red chocolate.

Treat #3: Witch Head Mallows
Ingredients:
Big white chocolate mallows
Chocolate flat biscuit
Melted dark chocolate
Coloured crystal sugars
Flat tops chocolate and kisses

Procedure:
1. Gumamit ng mallows para maging ulo at melted chocolate naman para sa mga mata at ilong.
2. Isalansan ang biskwit, chocolate tops at teardrop-shaped na tsokolate para maging sombrero.

Treat #4: Chocolate Covered Cherry Mice
Ingredients:
Cherries with stem
Melted dark chocolate
Pecan nuts
Chocolate kisses
Colored crystal sugar

Procedure:
1. Ilubog ang cherries kasama ang tangkay nito sa melted dark chocolate.
2. Bumuo ng hugis daga. Lumikha ng ulo mula sa teardrop-shaped chocolate.
3. Lagyan ito ng mga mani para makabuo ng tenga.
4. Gumawa ng mga mata mula sa asukal.

Treat #5: Giant Chocolate Spiders
Ingredients:
Chocolate cupcakes/ chocolate domes
Melted milk chocolate
Melted white chocolate

Procedure:
1. Lumikha ng gagamba mula sa cupcake/dome bilang katawan.
2. Gumamit ng melted milk chocolate para makabuo ng mga binti o galamay.
3. Gamitin ang white chocolate para maging mata.
