Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit recipe: Pinoy Kimchi with Korean Barbecue with Chef Dino Ferrari

Ingredients

  • Para sa Pinoy kimchi:
  • petchay o petchay baguio
  • asin
  • tubig

Para sa kimchi sauce:

  • patis
  • red pepper powder
  • sibuyas
  • bawang
  • peras
  • asin
  • asukal
  • luya
  • spring onion

Para sa Korean barbecue:

  • liempo
  • puree ng peras
  • puree ng sibuyas
  • bawang
  • luya
  • sibuyas
  • toyo
  • asukal na pula
  • paminta
  • sesame oil at seeds


Procedure

Pinoy Kimchi:

1. Hiwain ang petchay at ibabad sa tubig na may asin sa loob ng isang araw.
2. Banlawan ang petchay o petchay baguio sa malamig na tubig sa loob ng 2 minuto.
3. Paghaluin ang patis, red pepper powder, sibuyas, bawang, peras, asin, asukal at luya para sa sauce ng kimchi.
4. Sa isang malaking bowl, ihalo ang petchay, sauce ng kimchi at spring onions.
5. Maaari nang ihain o kaya patagalin sa loob ng isang araw na nakaburo bago kainin.

Korean barbecue:
1. Paghaluin ang puree ng peras at sibuyas, bawang, luya, toyo, asukal na pula at paminta.
2. Ihalo ang mixture sa karne at i-marinate ito.
3. Ihawin.
4. Ihain.
