1 whole itik, dressed and cleaned

2 tbsps oyster sauce

2 tbsps dark soy sauce

3 tbsps sesame oil

1 tsp salt

2 tsps white pepper

½ cup soy sauce

1 cup white sugar

3 pcs star anise

1 tsp 5 spice powder

2 tbsps hoisin sauce

2 liters chicken stock

Oil for deep-frying

Ingredients for the sauce:

2 tbsps cornstarch, diluted with 2 tbsps water

2 cup stock from itik

Ingredients for Garnish

1/2 pc carrots, thinly sliced, for garnish

1 stalk onion leeks, white part only, for garnish
