What are the Pet-Friendly Scheduled Trips of Victory Liner? Fur parents will be happy to know that Victory Liner now accommodates a more pet-friendly bus schedule. From their Olongapo Terminal alone, they have 14 daily bus trips scheduled bound for Baguio, Balanga, Dagupan, Pasay, Sampaloc and Cubao. From Cubao Terminal, they have 8 scheduled trips going to Baguio, Bolinao, Lingayen and Iba. Ten daily scheduled trips from Caloocan Terminal and eleven from the Baguio Terminal.
LTFRB Memorandum Circular No. 2020-003, or the "Supplemental Guidelines Allowing Pet Animals Inside Public Utility Vehicles"
Under Memorandum Circular Number 2020-003, pet animals must be put in a cage/animal carrier free from foul order if loaded on mass transport such as public buses, jeepneys, UV Express service, and Premium Point-to-Point (P2P) bus service without having to compromise safety, health issues, and convenience of other passengers.
The memo also noted that pets must wear an animal diaper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at all times during the journey.
Pets placed inside a carrier or cage must be beside the passenger-owner and must pay the corresponding fare in an amount the same as that of the paying passenger per seat occupied.
It stipulated that dog sizes allowed in PUVs must be from the range of small to medium-sized dogs, highlighting that large and giant dogs shall not be allowed.
Meanwhile, the Philippines has logged 55 cases of rabies as of Feb. 25, an eight percent increase as compared to the same period last year.
MEANWHILE, The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) aldo now allowing commuters to travel with their pets as long as these are placed inside pet carriers that comply with the MRT-3’s policies. MRT-3 said these pets are required to be carried inside pet carriers with a maximum size of 2 feet (ft) by 2ft.
