Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 57-Aug. 12- OPEN-FACE OMELET WITH ASPARAGUS AND BACON. Ingredients: 500 g. green asparagus spears 6 pcs. eggs Salt 1 tsp. crushed black pepper corn 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 cup bacon 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded 20 g. fresh basil Procedure: 1. Preheat oven. 2. Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus. Cut asparagus diagonally into ¼ inch pieces. Whisk together eggs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. 3. Heat oil in a 20-inch non-stick oven-proof pan over medium heat. Add bacon, and asparagus, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2to 4 minutes or until bacon is thoroughly heated and asparagus is crisp tender. 4. Reduce heat to low and add egg mixture. As egg mixture starts to cook, gently lift edge of omelet with spatula, and tilt pan so uncooked portion flows underneath. Cook 2 minutes or until almost set. 5. Sprinkle oven with cheese. Ingredients: 1 kg. minced chicken meat 1 pc. chopped onion 3 cloves chopped garlic 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2cup. raisins ¼ cup tomato paste ½ cup chicken stock 1 tsp. seasoning powder 2 tbsp. cooking oil 10 pcs. Pita bread 5 pcs. ripe banana (saging Saba) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. white pepper powder 10 g. chopped spring onion Procedure: 1. Sauté in sauce pan oil, garlic, onion, tomato sauce, chicken stock, minced chicken until done. Add raisins, sugar, salt, pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes and set aside. 2. Deep-fry banana until golden brown and set aside. 3. Open each piece of Pita bread and fill it up with Arroz chicken a la cubana and fried banana. 4. Roll and place on plate. Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 57- Aug. 12 CHEF BOY's TANIGUE STEAK. Ingredients: 1kg. tanguigue steak 150 g. each cut per portion 30g. black olives cut into slices 20g. red bell pepper (small dice cut) 20g. green bell pepper(small dice cut) ¼ cup calamansi juice 10g. capers chopped 20g finely chopped white onion ½ jigger brandy ½ jigger white wine 50 g. butter 1 tsp.salt 1 tsp. white pepper powder 1 pc. dayap or US lemon cut into wedges 1 pc. small tomato, dice cut 1 tbsp. mustard Procedure: 1. Season with salt, pepper. Brush the tanguigue steak with mustard. ,Pan grill into frying pan,Flambé with brandy, white wine, until done, and set aside. 2. Sauté in sauce pot with olive oil, onion, bell pepper, tomato. Season with salt, pepper. Add butter, calamansi juice, black olives. 3.
