Ingredients: tahong bawang sibuyas kamatis tubig itlog patis Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Pakuluan ang tahong. 2. Sa isang kawali, igisa ang sibyas, bawang at kamatis. 3. Lagyan ng tubig at hayaang kumulo. 4. Ihalo ang pritong itlog. Maaari ring timplahan ng patis. 5. Idagdag ang tahong at hayaang maluto sa loob ng 5 minuto.

BUKO PANDAN 1 box pandan gelatin 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar 1 cup shredded coconut 1 pack all-purpose cream 1/4 cup condensed milk Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: Prepare gelatin according to package directions, but add sugar and pandan flavoring. Transfer to a square glass dish and set aside. When gulaman sets, cut into cubes. Then, combine with coconut, cream and milk. Chill and garnish with pandan leaves.

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 124/Jan. 12, 2014- Nilagang Baka with Fish Sauce Dip, Tajore Mansi Dip and Ensaladang Talong. NILAGANG BAKA 500g beef shanks, cut into serving parts 500g beef tendons 2 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered 1 small onion, peeled and quartered 1 tsp pepper corn 1/2 cabbage, cut into wedges 80g bagiuo beans 1 tablespoon fish sauce 2L water salt to taste Photo and recipe credit: Idol sa Kusina Procedure: In a pot, combine beef shanks, beef tendon and enough water to cover. Over medium heat, bring to a boil, skimming scum as it rises to top. Once broth clears, add onions, pepper corns and fish sauce. Lower heat, cover and cook at no more than a simmer for about 2 hours or until shanks and tendons are soft. 3. Add more water as needed. Add potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes. Add green beans and cabbage and cook for a few minutes until vegetables are tender. Season with salt to taste. Serve hot. FISH SAUCE

Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 124/Jan. 12, 2014- Inihaw na Liempo at Hito with Vinegar, Soy dip and Atchara. INIHAW NA LIEMPO AT HITO 350g pork liempo, boneless salt and pepper to taste 6 pcs calamansi 1. Season liempo with salt, pepper and calamansi. 2. Grill pork until done, do not overcook. Photo and recipe credit: Idol sa Kusina VINEGAR SAUCE: 1 cup sukang iloko (cane vinegar) 1 pc labuyo, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced pepper to taste salt to taste spring onion, chopped Combine everything in a bowl and serve. SOY DIPPING SAUCE: 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup tomato ketchup 3 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp calamansi pepper to taste 1 pc finger chili, sliced Combine everything in a bowl and serve. ATCHARA: 2 cups green papaya, strips then mixed with salt and leave for 10 minutes and drain 1/2 cup red pell peppers, strips 1/2 cup carrots, strips 1 red onion, chopped 1 thumb-size ginger, strips 1/4 cup raisins

Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 124/Jan. 12, 2014- Deep Fried Sugpo and Baby Squid with Lemon – Vinegar, Dark Mayo and Pureed Green Mango Ensalada Dip. FRIED SUGPO AT BABY SQUID 300g prawns, head and skin on, deveined 250g baby squid, cleaned 2 cups cornstarch oil for deep frying salt and pepper to taste Coat prawns and squid in cornstarch and deep fry in hot oil. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
