Here's  Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day- February 27, 2014: Special Pinakbet ala Alessandra De Rossi with Alessandra De Rossi. Ingredients: karne ng baboy talong ampalaya kalabasa kamatis sibuyas luya bawang okra sitaw bagoong tubig mantika asin paminta Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Painitin ang mantika. 2. Igisa ang bawang, luya, sibuyas at kamatis. 3. Ilagay ang bagoong at lutuin ng dalawang minuto. 4. Dagdagan ng tubig at pakuluin sa loob ng 10-15 minuto hanggang sa lumambot ang karne. 5. Ilagay ang kalabasa at lutuin ng 5-7 minuto o di kaya ay hanggang sa lumambot ang kalabasa. 6. Idagdag ang iba pang mga gulay at ihalo sa iba pang mga sangkap. Lutuin ng limang minuto hanggang sa maluto ang mga gulay. 7. Ihain.

Ingredients: sapsap bunga ng sampalok luya sibuyas kamatis siling panigang pampaasim patis Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Sa kumukulong tubig ilagay ang sampalok, luya, sibuyas, kamatis, patis at pampaasim. 2. Pakuluin ito sa loob ng 5 minuto. 3. Ihulog ang sapsap at ang mga natirang kamatis at siling panigang. 4. Hayaan itong kumulo hanggang maluto.

Lagyan ng luya, kamatis at sibuyas ang tiyan ng tilapia. 2. Asinan at lagyan din ng paminta. 3. Balutin ang isda gamit ang dahon ng pechay. 4. Hayaang maluto sa gata na may tanglad hanggang kumulo at maluto ang isda.

Here's  Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day- February 24, 2014: Tinolang Porkchop sa Upo with Chef Ric Loterio. Ingredients: karneng baboy (porkchop)  upo  dahon ng sili luya  bawang  sibuyas  siling pang-sigang  pamintang buo  mantika  achuete seeds asin  patis Procedure: 1. Sa isang heavy bottom na kaserola, igisa ang luya, bawang at sibuyas sa mantika. 2. Isunod na agad ang porkchops at timplahan ng asin at paminta. Takpan at hayaang masangkutsa sandali. 3. Ibabad ang achuete seeds sa 1/2 tasang tubig. Piga-pigain hanggang sa kumulay ito. Ilagay ang katas sa nilulutong tinola para pangkulay.

Isang complete meal ang ginawa ni Chef Boy mula sa ating super sabaw. Narito ang mga kailangan para sa  Beef stock: 2 kilos meaty beef stock bones (with marrow; shank and knuckle bones, if possible) 400g of stew meat (chuck or flank steak) and/or beef scraps, cut into 2-inch chunks 2 white onions, peeled and quartered 2 carrots, cut into 1-2-inch segments 1 large celery rib, cut into 1 inch segments 4 cloves of garlic, unpeeled handful of parsley, stems and leaves 2 bay leaves 10 peppercorns Photo and recipe credit: Idol sa Kusina Pares (with a serving of soup): 500g beef brisket, uncut ¼ cup soy sauce 1 tsp ground black pepper ¼ cup sugar 2 tbsp ginger, minced 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 pc red onion, minced 4 cups beef stock 2 pieces star anise 2 tbsp cooking oil 3 tbsp spring onions, finely chopped Fried rice: 3 cups rice 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/3 cup carrots 1 egg, beaten 1/3 cup ham, small dices salt and pepper
