Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 44- QUESADILLA MEXICANA. Ingredients: Large flour tortillas Grated cheddar cheese olive oil or grape seed oil sliced mushrooms green onions black olives, sliced fresh tomatoes, diced chicken pieces avocado lettuce apple cider vinegar salt Procedure: 1. Heat large cast iron frying pan to medium high heat. 2.Add oil and spread around bottom of pan with spatula. Take one tortilla and place it in pan. Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 43- FRIED CORNED BEEF BALLS. Ingredients: 500g corned beef 6 pcs. eggs 1 pc. white onion 1 clove garlic 4 loaves bread, white part only, soaked in fresh milk ½ cup fresh milk 30g spring onion 30g celery 1 cup rice 100g all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. white pepper For garnish: julienne carrots and julienne pumpkin Procedure: 1. Saute onion, garlic, celery. Add corned beef. season with salt and pepper. Set aside. 2. On mixing bowl, add bread loaves, spring onion, beaten egg, all-purpose flour. Combine all together. 3. Form into balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and set aside. 4. Saute white rice in butter. Add beaten egg, turn once until done. 5. Place on plate over top with corned beef balls. Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 43- MANILA MAKI. Ingredients: 50g garlic chopped (crispy) ¼ cup cooking oil 1 cup plain rice 200g tocino 200g longganisa 50g julienne papaya raw 50g julienne carrots 30g julienne red bell pepper 30g julienne ginger 1 cup vinegar ½ cup sugar 1 tsp. salt and pepper Procedure: 1. Saute in frying pan plain white rice, add crispy chopped garlic. Season to taste and set aside. 2. Grill tocino until done and set aside. 3. Grill longganisa until done and set aside. 4. Combine julienne raw papaya, carrots, red bell pepper and ginger. Add boiled vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper. 5. Place sinangag on small bowl, and place bowl on long platter. Then cut tocino into thin slices and longganisa into long slices. 6. Ingredients: 2/3 cup chopped bacon 1 kg shrimps, peeled and deveined 3 pcs. white bread, soaked in milk 1 cup sliced almonds 1 cup chopped spring onions ½ cup chopped cilantro 1 tbsp. cornstarch 5 tsp. MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. sugar Procedure: Combine bacon and shrimps in food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add soaked bread and pulse until just combined. Transfer mixture into bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix top combine well. Form into balls and deep fry until golden brown.
