Unang Hirit Recipe- Banana Heart Steak

Here's  Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day- February 10, 2014: Banana Heart Steak with Chef Echo Pascual. Ingredients: puso ng saging harina itlog bawang sibuyas asin paminta mantika gravy/ steak sauce Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Balatan ang puso ng saging hanggang ang matira na lang ang pinakamaputing bahagi. 2. Tadtarin sa maliliit na piraso at pakuluan nang ilang minuto para matanggal ang dagta nito. Palamigin. 3. Sa isang mixing bowl, paghaluin ang harina, itlog, bawang, sibuyas, asin, paminta at iba pang pampalasa. 4. Gumawa ng mga patty gamit ang pinakuluang puso ng saging at ang flour mixture. 5. Prituhin ang banana heart patties hanggang sa maging golden brown. 6. Gumawa ng steak sauce o gravy na maaaring isama sa burger patties.

Ilagay ang sardinas sa ginisang sibuyas, bawang at kamatis. 2. Lagyan ng tubig at ilagay ang odong at patola. 3. Lagyan ng asin, paminta at konting asukal. 4. Ilagay ang hiniwang spring onion. 5. Pigaan ng kalamansi.

Unang Hirit #KitchenHirit of the day: Pansit Papaya with Chef Dang Arias Ingredients: green papaya asin mantika bawang  sibuyas karneng baboy  hipon  squid balls  chicharo carrots  repolyo  papaya toyo kalamansi oyster sauce  itlog  mani  wansoy  Procedure: 1. Ibudbod ang asin sa papaya para mabawasan ang tubig nito. 2. Igisa ang bawang at sibuyas. 3. Isunod ang karneng baboy, hanggang maging golden brown ito.  4. Ilagay ang hipon at squid balls. 5. Isunod ang chicharo, carrots, repolyo at papaya. 6. Timplahan ng toyo, kalamansi at oyster sauce. 7. I-garnish ng itlog, mani at wansoy.

Ingredients: alimasag buko bawang luya sibuyas siling panigang red bell pepper gata ng niyog dahon ng saging mantika patis asin Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Ilaga ang mga alimasag, palamigin at himayin. 2. Igisa ang bawang at sibuyas sa loob ng isang minuto. Idagdag ang siling panigang, red bell pepper at kinayod na laman ng buko. At muling pakuluin sa loob ng isang minuto. 3. Ibuhos ang gata ng niyog at muling pakuluin hanggang sa maging malapot ang gata. 4. Idagdag ang hinimay na laman ng alimasag. 5. Timplahan ng asin at paminta. 6. Pag luto na ang crab mixture, hanguin ito at muling ipalaman sa shell. 7. Balutin mabuti ang bawat shell sa dahon ng saging. 8. Ihawin ito sa loob ng dalawang minuto.

Ginger julienne 50 g. Garlic thinly slices 100 g. Red onion slices 30 g. Green chili julienne 100 g. Tomatoes round slices 50 g. Unang Hirit Recipe- Ampalaya con Manok

Unang Hirit #KitchenHirit of the day: Ampalaya con Manok with Chef Jerwyn Rabo. Ingredients: ampalaya chicken breast kamatis itlog sibuyas bawang patis asin paminta canola/vegetable oil Procedure: 1. Hatiin ang ampalaya. Tanggalin ang mga buto sa loob nito at hiwain ng maliliit na cubes. 2. Upang mabawasan ang pait ng ampalaya, ibabad ito sa tubig na may halong asin sa loob ng 30 minuto (1tbsp salt sa 2 cups ng tubig). Kapag tapos na ay tanggalin ang tubig at hugasan muli ang ampalaya. 3. Gumamit ng kawali. Lagyan ng mantika at igisa ang bawang, sibuyas, at kamatis. Sabay ilagay ang chicken breast, patis at ampalaya. Hayaan maluto ng 2-3 minutes. 4.bago maluto ang lahat, ihalo ang itlog at timplahan ito ng asin at paminta. 5. I-hain nang mainit.
