Unang Hirit Recipe- Kalderatang Kapampangan

Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day- April 10, 2014: Kalderatang Kapampangan a la Melanie Marquez with Melanie Marquez. Ingredients: karne ng baka bawang sibuyas kamatis tomato paste pineapple chunks black pepper itlog patatas carrots green peas liver spread bell pepper atsuete toyo Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Palambutin ang baka at itabi. 2. Sa isang kaserola, painitin ang mantika at ilagay ang atsuete. Papulahin ang mantika at tanggalin ang atsuete. 3. Igisa ang bawang, sibuyas at kamatis. Lagyan nang tomato paste at ihalo ang pinalambot na karneng baka, at lagyan ng toyo. 4. Ilagay ang patatas at carrots at antayin na lumambot (5 minutes). 5. Huling ilagay, ang pinya, green peas at bell pepper. 6. Palaputin sa pamamagitan ng liver spread. 7. Ihain na may kasamang boiled egg.

Unang Hirit #KitchenHirit of the day: Chef Gene Gonzalez' Menudo Sulipeña with Chef Gene Gonzalez Ingredients: oxtail o buntot ng baka hamon chorizo bilbao tomato sauce tomato paste garbanzos Spanish brandy bawang sibuyas red at green bell pepper butter olive oil paprika asin paminta Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Pakuluan ang ox tail sa loob ng 20-25 minuto o hanggang sa lumambot ito. 2. Tanggaling sa mga buto ang pinakuluang baka at hiwain ng cubes. Itabi ang sabaw. 3. Sa isang kaserola, igisa sa mantikilya at olive oil ang bawang at sibuyas. 4. Idagdag ang red at green bell peppers at paprika. Igisa sa llob ng 2-3 minuto. 5. Idagdag ang ox tail, hamon, chorizo, tomato sauce at tomato paste. Isama ang sabaw at muling pakuluin sa loob ng sampung minuto. 6. Ihulog ang garbanzos at brandy. Pakuluin. 7. Timplahan ng asin at paminta ayon sa panlasa.
