Here's Idol sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 58- Aug. 19-SIZZLING CHINESE CHICKEN SISIG. Ingredients: 1.5 kg. deboned chicken (Pre-broiled) ½ cup hoisin sauce ½ cup sesame seeds ½ cup almond flakes, roasted 1 pc. chopped red onion 1 tbsp. chopped garlic ½ cup chopped green chili( siling haba) ¼ cup calamansi juice 30 g. butter 1 tbsp. cooking oil 300 g. chicken liver (pre-broiled) (inihaw na) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. crushed black peppercorn 10 g. chopped spring onion Procedure: 1. Chop the broiled chicken and liver. Marinate with calamansi juice and hoisin in 2minutes. 2. Sauté in sauce pan the oil, garlic, onion, chilli, until slightly brown. Add marinated chicken and liver. Sizzling Tofu Sisig: 500g tofu, cubed 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 white onion, chopped 1 red bell pepper, chopped ½ cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp water 3 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tsp sugar ½ tsp parsley black pepper to taste 2 finger chilies, sliced ½ white onion, chopped Procedure: 1. Ingredients: 200 gms. chicken breast, skinned and deboned 25 gms. grated cheese 1 pc spring onion, chopped 1 sliced cooked ham broccoli florets, broken into small pieces Procedure: 1. Pound chicken breast between 2 sheets of greaseproof paper until thin. 2. In small bowl, combine together broccoli, cheese and spring onion; mix well. 3. Lay pounded chicken breast on greaseproof paper. Place ham on chicken and top with broccoli, cheese and spring onion mixture. 4. Carefully roll up chicken breast in greaseproof paper, ensuring that both ends are well sealed, by twisting, then tucking under the parcel. 5. Place parcel on G.E. Ingredients: 3 pcs. white fish, cleaned 2 cm pc fresh turmeric 4 pcs. cloves garlic 1 stalk lemon grass 2 cups grated coconut 4 pcs. red chilis ½ cup tamarind juice GOLDEN FIESTA COOKING OIL, for deep frying Banana leaves for wrapping fish Procedure: 1. Marinate fish with salt and turmeric powder. 2. Grind chilies, lemon grass and turmeric until fine. Also grind some of coconut. 3. Slice thinly shallots and garlic. Thai Fish Sauce or low-sodium soy sauce 1 lb. chicken breast tenders Cucumber Salad: 1/3 cup fresh lime juice 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 11/2 cucumbers, halved, thinly sliced 1 pc red bell pepper, thinly sliced 3/4 cup panko crumbs 1 tbsp. vegetable oil Peanut Sauce: 1/2 cup. lite coconut milk 2 tbsp. crunchy peanut butter 1 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. Here's Idol  sa Kusina Recipe for Episode 42- TWICE-FRIED CHICKEN. Ingredients: 1 cup chicken broth 6 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped ¼ cup Hoisin sauce 2 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger 1 ½ tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. honey ¼ tsp. pepper Vegetable oil, for frying 500g chicken drumstick 1 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted Procedure: 1. Using blender, puree chicken broth, garlic, hoisin sauce, ginger, soy sauce, honey and pepper. Transfer to small saucepan and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Cover and keep warm over low heat. 2. In large pot, add 2-inch deep oil; heat over medium-high heat. Working in 2 batches, fry wings, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Transfer to paper towel to drain out excess oil. 3. Heat oil again.
