Here's  Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day- February 27, 2014: Special Pinakbet ala Alessandra De Rossi with Alessandra De Rossi. Ingredients: karne ng baboy talong ampalaya kalabasa kamatis sibuyas luya bawang okra sitaw bagoong tubig mantika asin paminta Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Painitin ang mantika. 2. Igisa ang bawang, luya, sibuyas at kamatis. 3. Ilagay ang bagoong at lutuin ng dalawang minuto. 4. Dagdagan ng tubig at pakuluin sa loob ng 10-15 minuto hanggang sa lumambot ang karne. 5. Ilagay ang kalabasa at lutuin ng 5-7 minuto o di kaya ay hanggang sa lumambot ang kalabasa. 6. Ingredients: karneng baboy (porkchop)  upo  dahon ng sili luya  bawang  sibuyas  siling pang-sigang  pamintang buo  mantika  achuete seeds asin  patis Procedure: 1. Sa isang heavy bottom na kaserola, igisa ang luya, bawang at sibuyas sa mantika. 2. Isunod na agad ang porkchops at timplahan ng asin at paminta. Takpan at hayaang masangkutsa sandali. 3. Ibabad ang achuete seeds sa 1/2 tasang tubig. Piga-pigain hanggang sa kumulay ito. Ilagay ang katas sa nilulutong tinola para pangkulay.

Timplahan ang hiniwang baboy, toyo, bawang at sibuyas. Itabi ito sa loob ng 30 minuto hanggang 1 oras. 2. Sa kawali, igisa ang sibuyas, bawang at kamatis. 3. Idagdag ang tinimplahang baboy at lagyan ng liver spread. 4. Pakuluan ito sa loob ng 5 hanggang 7 minuto. 5. Idagdag ang tomato sauce, tubig at dahon ng laurel. 6. Hayaan itong kumulo hanggang sa maluto ang baboy. 7. Ilagay ang pasas, carrots, patatas, atay at hotdog. 8. Timplahan ng asin at paminta. Muling pakuluin sa loob ng limang minuto.

Tiger prawns o sugpo 300 grams fresh strawberry 1 small bottle strawberry jam 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup calamansi juice 1/2 cup oil 1 bar butter 1 cup milk Photo and recipe credit: Unang Hirit Procedure: 1. Hiwain ang lomo ng 100grams ang isa. Lagyan ito ng salt at pepper. I-set aside. 2. Lagyan ng salt at pepper ang mga sugpo.  3. I-prito ang lomo at ang mga sugpo hanggang maluto. Ilagay sa isang plato. Lagyan ng mga strawberry at honey sa itaas.

Balatan ang puso ng saging hanggang ang matira na lang ang pinakamaputing bahagi. 2. Tadtarin sa maliliit na piraso at pakuluan nang ilang minuto para matanggal ang dagta nito. Palamigin. 3. Sa isang mixing bowl, paghaluin ang harina, itlog, bawang, sibuyas, asin, paminta at iba pang pampalasa. 4. Gumawa ng mga patty gamit ang pinakuluang puso ng saging at ang flour mixture. 5. Unang Hirit #KitchenHirit of the day: Ampalaya con Manok with Chef Jerwyn Rabo. Ingredients: ampalaya chicken breast kamatis itlog sibuyas bawang patis asin paminta canola/vegetable oil Procedure: 1. Hatiin ang ampalaya. Tanggalin ang mga buto sa loob nito at hiwain ng maliliit na cubes. 2. Upang mabawasan ang pait ng ampalaya, ibabad ito sa tubig na may halong asin sa loob ng 30 minuto (1tbsp salt sa 2 cups ng tubig). Kapag tapos na ay tanggalin ang tubig at hugasan muli ang ampalaya. 3. Gumamit ng kawali. Lagyan ng mantika at igisa ang bawang, sibuyas, at kamatis. Sabay ilagay ang chicken breast, patis at ampalaya. Hayaan maluto ng 2-3 minutes. 4.bago maluto ang lahat, ihalo ang itlog at timplahan ito ng asin at paminta. 5. I-hain nang mainit.

Pakuluan sa chicken stock, pamintang buo, laurel at bawang ang pata at liempo hanggang lumambot. Hiwain ng katamtamang laki pag bahagyang lumamig. Isantabi ang pinagpakuluan o ang 'caldo'. 2. Igisa sa lard or mantika ang chorizo de bilbao. Hintaying mamula ang mantika bago ilagay ang sibuyas at hiniwang pata at liempo. 3. Here's  Unang Hirit Kitchen Hirit of the day: Adobo-style Chao Fan with Chef Jonathan Mirandilla. Ingredients: manok asin paminta mantika bawang sibuyas toyo suka tubig dahon ng laurel kanin carrots green peas red & green bell pepper luya cornstarch Procedure: 1. Timplahan ang mga hiniwang manok ng asin at paminta. 2. Sa isang kawali. Maggisa ng sibuyas at bawang. 3. Idagdag ang tinimplahang manok at prituhin ito hanggang sa maging golden brown. 4. Dagdagan ito ng toyo, suka, tubig at dahon ng laurel. 5. Hayaang maluto ang manok at gumawa ng gravy. 6. Sa isang kawali, isangag ang kanin kasama ang hiniwang carrots at green peas. 7. Idagdag ang sabaw ng nilutong adobo at mga hinimay na adobong manok. 8. Isama ang bell pepper at prinitong itlog.
